I met Quinan back in college, never did I expect that a simple friendship would grow into something truly beautiful. It all started when one of his classmates, “Paul” gave him my number. That’s how our story began.

Not long after, Quinan and I would secretly meet at SM North. One of our favorite things was playing at Tom’s World and eating at food court or fast food places like McDo and KFC, and most of the time Paotsin. Over the years, as we grew and supported each other, those little dates slowly turned into sharing meals at the places we love.

We connected so easily. We shared the same interests, the same humour, and understood each other in ways that felt so natural. Before we even realised it, we were already falling in love.

We never really had an “official” date when we became a couple. Quinan believes it was in February, while for me, it felt like April. Then our friend “Pong” stepped in and decided that the 23rd would be our anniversary and we just went with it. But up to this day, we still celebrate in different months.

What started as simple conversations and shared laughter grew into a love built on respect, trust, and a bond that only grew stronger with time.

Now, eleven years later, through every season, every challenge, and every joy, we’re still choosing each other. And I know deep in my heart… this is only the beginning of our forever.
